Nokia G10, G20 Unveiled along with Nokia C10 and C20; Value Features on a Budget - MobileTrends

At their big launch event yesterday, HMD unveiled a slew of new Nokia phones. In addition to the mid-range X-series, four Nokia G and Nokia C series phones were also introduced. You’re offered two years of operating system updates and security patches.

Nokia G10 and Nokia G20
The G10 and G20 duo follows a single design language. They feature a 6.52” IPS LCD that delivers a 720P resolution. A notch bleeds into this panel, and Nokia’s branding is stamped on the chin. The thick 9.2mm shell comes in Dusk and Night colors for the Nokia G10 and Glacier and Night for the G20.

Both phones pack 5050 mAh batteries without any fast charging support. You get a side-facing fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a slot for storage expansion.

Nokia G10 has the MediaTek Helio G25 at its heart, while the G20 is powered by Helio G35. The former comes in 3GB/4GB memory and 32GB storage options; the latter is available in 4GB memory and 64GB/128GB internal storage variants.

For the cameras, the Nokia G20 has a 48MP f/1.8 lens, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a pair of 2MP macro and portrait sensors. The G10 has the two low-res cameras, plus a 13MP sensor for the primary lens.

Nokia G10 will hit stores later this month and start from €140 (~ Rs. 25,000.) The G20 is coming in May and is priced at €160 (~ Rs. 28,900.)

Nokia C10 and Nokia C20
The C10 and C20 are the entry-level models in this lineup. You get bare-bones, essential features on a budget. Both phones run on the Go edition of Android11, designed for low-end hardware. Old-generation 28nm Unisoc chips power the duo.

We’re looking at 6.52” IPS LCD notched screens with a 720P resolution. The front and back cameras are 5MP. Nokia C10 and C20 feature 3000 mAh batteries that charge at 5W over a micro-USB port. You get 1GB/2GB of memory and 16GB/32GB of expandable storage.

Nokia C10, starting from €75 (~ Rs. 13,500,) will be available in June; the C20 is coming later this month and costs €90 (~ Rs. 16,000.)

After a brief promotional campaign, Tecno unveiled the Tecno Spark 6's successor yesterday. It’s an entry-level phone with bare-bones, essential features. Currently, the Spark 7 is only available in India but, based on Tecno’s typical release calendar, it should be headed to Pakistan next. If there’s one feature you can pinpoint for a typical Transsion-branded phone, it would have to be its big battery capacity. And the Tecno Spark 7 is no exception. It packs a massive 6000 mAh cell, advertised to last over thirty days on stand-by. But being the basic model that it is, the Spark 7 lacks any fast charging support. The adapter in the box also uses the dated MicroUSB standard. Similarly, the phone has the 12nm MediaTek Helio A25 chip at its heart, available in 2GB/3GB of memory and 32GB/64GB of expandable internal storage. Tecno ships it with the latest Android11-based HiOS 7.5. The build of the new addition to the Tecno price list is plain plastic. The spark 7 will be available in ch

Vivo only recently concluded the rollout of its Vivo V20 series, but the phone-maker already has sequels in the works. With the upcoming V21, Vivo is introducing 5G to this lineup for the first time. The V21 5G was recently certified in Indonesia. You can find the Vivo V21 5G listed under the model name ‘V2050’ on the Indonesia Telecom Certification library. Before we get into the details, note the phone could debut in the coming weeks based on the approval secured. Since it’s a telecommunication certificate, the document lacks any system information. It’s also unclear if an LTE edition will accompany the V21 5G. But the phone reportedly has a Snapdragon 700 series chip at its heart — the Snapdragon 765G and Snapdragon 780G are leading contenders. Photography and sleek design are typically the two highlights of the upcoming V-series soon to join the Vivo price list, and the V21 seems to be no exception. We’ve learned from early rumors that the upcoming series will get big camera upgrad
